River Slate Stone is a dark gray aquascape stone with a flat layered texture and slight color variation. This stone adds visual interest to an aquascape. 3-10" mixed sizes simulate a lake or river environment and are also suitable for creative layouts that require stacking or building, such as caves, rock bridges, etc. The flatness and lack of sharp edges make it ideal as a breeding substrate for some fish that like to nest. Its stable properties make it safe and friendly to aquatic life as it does not release carbonates.
