Coral Rx is used in the treatment and prevention of bacterial diseases that can be associated with fresh cut or injured corals. This package will treat 1514 litres.
How to prepare product:
Turn off skimmer and discontinue using activated carbon and phosphate remover for 72 hours; they may be resumed after 72 hours but all other chemical filtration should be removed during the course of treatment.
Filter socks are recommended to aid in cleaning the aquarium.
Do not use if you have macroalgae or a refugium.
Allow 10 to 14 days for results.

It is recommended to maintain phosphate levels below 0.03ppm.
Six drops of Phosphate Control will lower your phosphate by .5ppm for every 10 gallons (37.9L) of water.
DO NOT LOWER YOUR PHOSPHATES MORE THAN .5ppm IN A 24-HOUR PERIOD.
For best results, add in high flow areas, one drop at a time. Some temporary cloudiness may occur when adding this product.
Cloudiness will clear within 24-hours. For accurate results, wait 24-hours before retesting your phosphate level.
Wait ten minutes before dosing other supplements. Test regularly and treat as necessary.

How to use product:
For best results, siphon out as much Cyano Bacteria as possible from your aquarium.
Turn OFF Protein skimmer, ozone and remove carbon before treatment.
Remove a cup of water from your aquarium and dissolve powder thoroughly as per below.
1 level scoop of Red Cyano Rx per 10 gallons (37.9 litres)
5 level scoops of Red Cyano Rx per 50 gallons (190 litres)
Dissolve thoroughly and pour solution into the aquarium.
After 24 hours of treatment perform a 25% water change.You may now turn back ON your Protein skimmer and resume use of carbon and ozone, although you may notice extra foam being produced by your Skimmer.
If Cyano Bacteria is still viable, 48 hours after treatment, perform a 25% water change and repeat dosage.
Note: It is recommended that the pH in your aquarium be greater than 8.0, before you begin to add Red Cyano Rx. The best time to start treatment is in the morning, when lighting first comes on.

Aquari-Cycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic in tablet form, effective against a wide range of bacterial infections in fresh and saltwater aquariums. Formulated specifically for aquarium use with inert carriers which dissolve rapidly upon contact with water. The active constituent of Aquari-Cycline is ”Tetracycline Hydrochloride", which is now legally available (S6) for use in ornamental fish.
Bacterial diseases can be devastating in aquariums and rank along with other water quality problems and protozoa as major causes of loss of aquarium fish. Aquari-Cycline is active against a wide range of Gram positive and Gram-negative bacteria including Aeromomas and Pseudomonas sp. At the recommended dose rate Aquari-Cycline is bacteriostatic against Bacterial Septicaemia, Coldwater Disease, Columnaris Disease (mouth fungus, cottonwool disease), Furunculosis, Fin and Tail Rot.
Treatment at the recommended dose rate for three days with subsequent partial water changes has not affected nitrification. However prolonged treatment of mature aquariums with antibiotics will affect nitrifying bacteria. The use of a separate treatment tank is recommended where only a few fish are infected.

Aquarium oxygen levels must be increased using heavy aeration or a large air stone.
Turn off any UV sterilizers and ozonizers and remove any Chemi-pure or carbon during treatment.
Continue using a protein skimmer, although skimmer may require adjustment or removal of collection cup to prevent excessive overflow.
Maintain normal water flow using pumps and powerheads.
Add one scoop of Chemiclean per 10 gallons of aquarium water.
Successful treatment may take up to 48 hours. After the 48 hour treatment period, perform a 20% water change.
Turn on any UV sterilizers and ozonators and replace with new Chemi-pure or carbon removed previously.

Use in Aquarium Keeping
Healthy aquariums depend on a well functioning biological (bacterial) filter. Continuum recommends that you use BacterGen•M, BacterGen•MD or BacterClean•M simultaneously with the Stress Defense•M to establish a properly working bacteria filter and maintain it. This will keep deadly ammonia and nitrite from weakening the fishes immune system and contribute to their overall health and hardiness, making recovery faster and more complete. Many filter systems are undersized. To quickly increase filtration in any existing filter, slowly change out filter medium to Continuum Exxodus cubes, blocks, plates or bricks. Exxodus has the highest surface area for filtration of any filter medium in the world and will quickly increase filtration and fish load capacity in any system.
Directions and protocol.
For aid in healing sick fish: Add 1 capful (5 ml) per 10 US gallons (40 L) of aquarium water to increase fishes slime coating. Coat wounds each day, until fishes are well. In severe cases, you can double the dose. Discontinue after 5 days. Transporting or Bagging fish: Add 1/2 capful to 1 capful depending on size of bag and size of fish to increase slime coating. New aquariums or for water changes: Add 1 capful (5 ml) per 10 US gallons (40 L) of aquarium water to increase fishes slime coating, coat wounds and to remove chlorine. If you have chloramine or high ammonia, please use Continuum Fraction at half the recommended dose prior to this product for best results. Test for chlorine and ammonia to be zero. If not, re-treat as above and re-test until zero. Then adjust temperature, add salt (follow the manufacturer’s recommendations), and test for proper pH and any other parameters required for the type of animals you are keeping. When all parameters are within limits, add water to the established aquarium or add animals to a new aquarium.
