The Biotope African Cichlid Conditioning Salts are a premium mineral-based GH (General Hardness) water conditioner specifically formulated for African Rift Lake Cichlids from lakes such as Malawi, Tanganyika, and Victoria. Designed to replicate the mineral-rich conditions of their natural habitats, these conditioning salts help promote healthy growth, vibrant colouration, strong breeding behaviour, and overall fish wellbeing.
Formulated with essential minerals including calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, sulphates, chlorides, carbonates, and bicarbonates, the salts help maintain proper hardness levels while also supporting aquatic plants and beneficial nitrifying bacteria within the aquarium ecosystem. The phosphate-free formula helps maintain water quality without contributing to unwanted algae growth.

Directions
Use during water changes by treating only the newly added water. Do not add when replacing evaporated water.
- 5g (approximately 1 teaspoon) per 15 litres increases GH by approximately 12°
- 7.5g per 15 litres increases GH by approximately 18°
