Product Description
Extreme Accuracy. Easy to Test in 4 Steps - Zero the Checker, Add a regent to your water sample, Insert the Vile in the Checker, Read the Numbered Results. BOOM EASY. ZAIR. Zero, Add, Insert, Read.
Includes reagents for 25x tests.
The Hanna Marine Alkalinity Checker® bridges the gap between simple chemical test kits and professional instrumentation. Chemical test kits have limited accuracy and resolution since they rely upon the human eye to discern differences in color. Professional instrumentation incorporates a light source such as an LED or tungsten lamp with a filter and a light sensing detector to precisely determine absorbance and ion concentration. Professional instrumentation offers greater resolution and accuracy but can cost hundreds of dollars. The Hanna Marine Alkalinity Checker® uses a fixed wavelength LED and silicon photo detector to provide the accuracy of professional instrumentation at the affordable price of a chemical test kit.
*To zero 1 ml of reagent A is added to deionized/distilled water as a blank.

Product Description
The HI784 Marine Ammonia Checker HC is a handheld colorimeter that uses the Beer-Lambert principle to determine the concentration of ammonia colorimetrically. The HI784 is designed specifically to measure ammonia levels in a saltwater aquarium. The 0.00 to 2.50 ppm range is ideal for coral/fish or fish-only aquarium maintenance.
Ideal for aquariums and marine biology
Easier to use and more accurate than chemical test kits
Small size, big convenience
Ammonia is a by-product of the Nitrogen cycle. Ammonia is normally removed by nitrifying bacteria, but ammonia levels can rise if there is an imbalance in the tank water chemistry. Excessive ammonia in a marine aquarium increases the risk of inhabitant illness or death.
Primary Applications: Marine, Saltwater Aquariums, Aquaculture

The HI736-25 are the replacement reagents for the HI736 Phosphorus Ultra Low Range Checker HC. These high quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceability.
The HI736-25 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Phosphorus Ultra Low Range Checker HC. These reagents follow the Ascorbic Acid Method in which the reaction between phosphorus and reagents causes a blue tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI736-25 reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI736 will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppb of phosphorus. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 200 ppb phosphorus.
Specifications
Package sachetsQuantity 25Method adaptation of the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 20th edition, Ascorbic Acid method. The reaction between phosphorus and the reagent causes a blue tint in the sample.
