Product Description
Synthetic marine salt for aquariums with fish and less delicate corals and invertebrates. When setting up new aquariums it is recommended that the first animals are placed no sooner than 10-14 days after filling the aquarium. After dissolving the salt, freshly prepared marine water can be user immediately.
Instructions for use:Dissolve the salt in previously prepared demineralised water. Water temperature should be about 24°C (75°F). For salinity of 30 ppt dissolve about 3.25 kg (7.16 lbs) of salt in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. Stir the solution vigorously for about 15 min. When the salt is fully dissolved and the solution clear the saline water is ready to use. Keep the salt in a dry and dark place. Once Dissolved, use the salt within 5 days. Keep out of reach of children! Product for aquarium use only! Reef Salt is not suitable for human consumption! Safety data sheet available on request.
Parameters of a salt are presented below:
24°C / 75.2°F
Mg – 1200-1300 mg/l
Ca – 360-400 mg/l
K – 300-350 mg/l
dKH – 8,0-9,0
pH – 8,0-8,2
Aquaforest products are manufactured in the EU under strict laboratory supervision to meet the highest quality standards. Each product is prepared from carefully selected raw components in quantities proven to yield consistent compositi on.
How is our Marine Salt product range tested? We mix our Marine Salt in 1 metric tonne (2204lb) batches, and 3 separate samples per batch are collected during the production stage for testi ng. Each of these samples is dissolved in 15 litres (4US gal) of RO water. Our experienced team of professionals perform ICP-OES analysis to verify that the chemical compositi on is within consistent range, and to rule out the presence of unwanted contaminants at the same ti me. Note: Even though our salt is thoroughly mixed, not every bucket/box will be identi cal. The parameters can vary slightly between containers and around a 2-3% variation is acceptable. This fl uctuati on is a result of both physical properties of the mix and the limitati ons of the processing techniques available. These variations are still smaller than the typical margin for error for popular hobbyist test kits.

NEW MODEL! NEW DESIGN!!!
A fluidising reactor, intended for use with different types of filter media, It works perfectly as a reactor for Phosphate Absorbers, Activated Carbon and Zeolites. Thanks to the compact dimensions, it can be used both internally in the sump or externally. The Reactor is made entirely from high quality – 100% acrylic, making it resistant to damage and discolouration. We used a silicone seal which protects the filter against leakage. Inside the filter are sponges with a special fixture to prevent deformation of the internal sponge – it prevents also the passage of filter medium outside the filter housing (important in the case of resins or absorbers – like GFO). Important thing is also that our media reactors are very solid and nicely made. We recommend the use of 3 Aquaforest Media, Zeo Mix, Carbon and Phosphate Minus in combination.
3 SIZES TO MEET YOUR NEEDS
AquaForest AF Series Media Reactors are available in 3 sizes: Small (AF90), Medium (AF110), and Large (AF150). Although the Large AF150 reactor is only 15 cm (5.91 inches) taller than the Small AF90, it has 350 times the media storage capacity!

Aquaforest give accurate results when testing Magnesium - test kit will give 55-60 tests per kit.Magnesium Test KitAquaforest TestPro Magnesium is designed to quickly measure the concentration of Magnesium (Mg) in marine water.
Magnesium plays an important role in many biological processes, e.g. takes part in the construction of hard coral’s calcium carbonate skeleton.
Due to its unique chemical properties it has significant impact on seawater buffering capacity, and also prevents excessive precipitation of calcium carbonate on aquarium equipment.
Adequate level of Magnesium is crucial in maintaining proper Calcium and Alkalinity balance in reef aquaria.
Mg levels should be analysed regularly, together with other critical water parameters like Calcium and Alkalinity.
The concentration of Magnesium in natural seawater is between 1260-1460 mg/l (ppm). Test Kit contains sufficient reagents to perform approx.
55-60 separate tests within that range.

Efficient medium for fluidization filters. Too much food and supplements may be the cause of too high phosphate levels. Due to the unique technology Phosphate Minus effectively reduces phosphate and silicate levels in marine aquariums. Its adsorbing capabilities allow bonding large amounts of phosphate without negative influence on the aquarium inhabitants.
Phosphate Minus is highly recommended both in new and in matured aquariums. In freshly set aquariums it prevents occurring high phosphate levels and in matured aquariums it reduces PO4 levels and stabilizes water chemistry. Due to maintaining the biological balance in the tank, it prevents the formation of undesirable green algae and the development of cyanobacteria.
Product Description
An agent for maintaining constant carbonate hardness level in reef aquariums. Accurate level of carbonate hardness is essential for stabilising pH levels. Sudden drop of carbonates concentration in the tank may entirely stop the nitrification process. Recommended level of KH in reef aquaria is 6,5-8,0 dKH. Dosage: dissolve 80 g of KH Buffer in 1000 ml RODI water. Dosage should be determined by the water tests results and daily corals’ consumption. Before applying KH Buffer solution into the water, it is recommended to run a water test to check current water parameters.
Maximum daily dose is 20 ml per 100 litres of water. 20 ml of KH Buffer solution raises KH level in 100 l of water by 0,5 dKH.
The product is also suitable for casual use for one-time KH level raising. 10 g of KH Buffer in 100 l of water raises KH level by about 3,3 dKH (Alk. 1,18 meg/l). We do not recommend raising KH level by more than 0,5 dKH per day. In order to maintain ionic balance Calcium, Magnesium and Reef Mineral Salt should also be applied. Contains NaHCO3. US: Dissolve 1.28 cups of the product in 1 US gal of deionized water.
Keep away from children. Product for aquarium use only. Not suitable for human consumption.
