Each Bio Ball is made of high-quality ceramic soil, after the ingredients, balls and firing processes, spherical ceramic particles are formed. Then four million spherical particles are stacked and formed. Increase the area of build up beneficial bacteria.
With the use of stabilized microbial sewage treatment technology every balls combined by 220000-250000 micro ceramic ball. Efficient bio filtration for the removal of nitrates, nitrites, ammonia and organics from aquariums water.
GAE Bio Mini Bricks is completely inert and will not breakdown. It doesn't need to be replaced. It's compatible with all types of wet or wet-dry filters. It's an excellent media for aerobic nitrification. Ideal place in drip trays, canister filters, display tank, sumps, or even box filters.
Note: Filter media should be cleaned or replaced every 6 months, however when cleaning/replacing old media, DO NOT replace all of them at the same time.
