Filter socks are a critical component in maintaining water quality in aquariums. They remove suspended debris and detritus, which often lead to excess dissolved organics, nitrate, and phosphate when left unchecked. 

These premium aquarium filter bags are made of high quality nylon mesh, won't harbor bacteria and do not clog as quickly as felt material do, yet they help ensure crystal clear water. 

In addition to a 100 micron, 150 micron and 200 micron to choose from. 

Finally, the plastic collar simplifies installation and easily fits standard sump fittings.
