Product Description
AQUA ESSENTIAL water conditioner is a highly concentrated all-in-one water conditioner that instantly makes tap water safe for fish by removing chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies heavy metals commonly found in tap water. AQUA ESSENTIAL water conditioner instantly removes toxic ammonia, nitrate and nitrite levels in freshwater, saltwater and planted aquariums. Toxic ammonia continually released by fish through their gills, urine and solid waste. Uneaten food and decaying organic matter also add ammonia. Small amounts of ammonia stress fish; large amounts of ammonia will kill fish. This unique formula binds with ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate rendering them non-toxic and allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them.
Use at start-up and whenever adding or changing water or when tested levels of ammonia, nitrates or nitrite are high. When adding, transporting or quarantining fish, we recommend using API STRESS COAT™ water conditioner which is ideal for use with AQUA ESSENTIAL water conditioner.
Instructions
Using dosing cap on bottle, add 5 ml. per 50 gallons of aquarium water to treat tap water. Add 5 ml. per 10 gallons of aquarium water to remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. We advise you to wait 24 hours after dosing then do a water change. If you dose within that 24 hour period there is no danger to the animals/plants in your aquarium. A follow-up water change is always beneficial to an aquatic system.
Product Description
API® Stress Zyme contains over 300 million live bacteria per teaspoonful to consume sludge and reduce aquarium maintenance, keeping your aquarium clean and improving the natural aquarium cycle. Making Stress Zyme part of your tank’s regular upkeep routine assures an active biological filter, a cleaner aquarium, healthier fish, and good water quality. This product may be used in both fresh and saltwater aquariums.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Add 1 tsp. per 10 gallons of water weekly.
Aquavitro Shrimp GH
aquavitro® shrimp GH™ adds a complete spectrum of minerals to the shrimp aquarium. It takes into consideration both the mineral requirements of shrimp and the mineral content of their natural waters in order to create an optimal shrimp environment. shrimp GH™ adds calcium, magnesium, potassium, and iron as well as 6 trace minerals all in the correct biological ratio for shrimp.
Sizes: 150 mL, 350 mL, 1 L
Product Description
Equilibrium™ is specifically designed to establish the ideal mineral content for the planted aquarium. Equilibrium™ contains no sodium or chloride (which can be detrimental to a planted aquarium at elevated levels). Equilibrium™ is ideally suited for use with RO (reverse osmosis) or DI (deionized) water or any mineral deficient water. Equilibrium™ raises the essential mineral/electrolyte content (General Hardness) of the water to balance with and promote stability of the carbonate hardness. To maintain KH, we recommend Alkaline Buffer™.
Unlike competing products, Equilibrium™ contains NO SODIUM CHLORIDE. Both sodium and chloride are not rapidly depleted elements in a planted aquarium, and, in the case of chloride, can do more harm than good. Competitors’ products generally contain primarily sodium chloride (because it is inexpensive), which will raise the electrolyte levels for fish, but can be detrimental to plant growth. In addition, sodium is not a contributing cation to GH levels. Equilibrium™ contains only calcium, magnesium, and potassium salts, which aid in fish metabolism, but are also highly beneficial to plant growth. Equilibrium™ guaranteed analysis and symptoms of deficiency
Directions
To raise mineral content/general hardness (GH) by 1 meq/L (3 dH), add 16 g (1 tablespoon) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) when setting up an aquarium or when making water changes (add to new water). For optimum solubility we recommend mixing with 1 L (1 qt.) of water (the resulting mixture will have a white opaque appearance). When this mixture is added to the aquarium it will impart a slight haze that should clear within 15–30 minutes. HINTS: Do not use Equilibrium™ when replacing evaporated water. This dose is based on DI or RO water; for other water, measure hardness (GH) first, then add according to need. For precise dosing, use the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale.
Plant preferences vary, but a general guide is about 1–2 meq/L (3–6 dH) or match the existing or target carbonate hardness (KH), which, ideally, is also about 1–2 meq/L (3–6 dKH). Equilibrium™ will compact with age, but remains effective.
Aquavitro Shrimp Start
aquavitro® shrimp start™ is the complete conditioner for your freshwater shrimp aquarium. shrimp start™ removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. shrimp start™ converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank’s biofilter. shrimp start™ may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrate toxicity and allows the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. It will also detoxify heavy metals found in the tap water. shrimp start™ is non-acidic and will not impact pH. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.
Sizes: 150 mL, 350 mL, 1 L
Product Description
aquavitro® shrimp exo™ is a stabilized potassium iodide source intended to aid in replicating the ideal environment for freshwater shrimp.
Sizes: 150 mL, 350 mL, 1 L
Add 5 mL (1 tsp) per every 40 L (10 US gallons) every two weeks to maintain correct iodide levels for freshwater shrimp. If using with humate soils, dose once a week. This dose will raise iodide by 0.006 mg/L. Do not overdose this product. It is recommended to wait at least 2 weeks before using on newly purchased shrimp.
